Last week (Aug 27- Aug 31) Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued its bearish mood and with nearly every sector and companies ending being red. Total shares worth Rs 3.56 arba were traded while manual turnover stood at Rs.6.49 crores. The total traded quantity last week was 75,84,557 units with 39,829 total transactions.
Last week too, broker no.34 (Vision Securities) did share transactions worth of Rs.39.12 crores topping the charts in terms brokers by total amount followed by broker no. 17 (ABC Securities Pvt. Limited) and broker no. 58 (Naasa Securities Co. Ltd.) each with transactions worth of Rs. 37.21 crores and Rs.37.19 crores respectively.

The sensitive index stood at 331.32 points while the float index closed at 114.52 points.
