Within a week, the ministry of finance's proposal committee, which was formed to look into interest rates, the nation's most recent economic position, and the commercial sector's interest, must provide its recommendations.

The study was conducted and suggestions were made by the committee, which was established at the initiative of Finance Minister Janardan Sharma. The National Planning Commission, the Deputy Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank, the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Confederation of Nepal Industry, the Federation of Domestic and Small Industries, the Nepal Bankers Association, and other concerned bodies were present at a meeting on Sunday at the ministry to discuss the country's economic situation and the effects of rising interest rates.

Minister Sharma reaffirmed that provisions had been established in the budget for the current fiscal year to support farmers and small businesses, and he asked the appropriate organizations to be careful in carrying them out.

"The economy would not recover without aiding farmers and small entrepreneurs; the budget has also talked directly about this," Sharma added.

The head of the Federation of Industries and Commerce, Shekhar Golchha, had a similar grievance, claiming that recent bank decision have caused industrialists to face difficulties

Under the direction of Baburam Subedi, joint secretary of the Ministry of Finance, a committee has been established to study, consult, and assess the current liquidity crisis in the nation. The group will then produce a report with recommendations for policy within seven days.
