With a 0.38% Uptick, NEPSE Gains 8.14 to Settle at 2,173.24 Levels; Nine Sector Closes Green Led by "Finance"

The NEPSE index closed at 2,173.24 today after gaining 8.14 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.38%. The index lost 13.71 points last yesterday.

Today the index opened at 2,166.15 and made an intraday high of 2173.24, where it ultimately closed. On the other hand, it went as low as 2,140.4.

248 scrips traded hands via 52,460 transactions. A total of 8,300,187 shares exchanged hands amounting to slightly above Rs. 3 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.864 Arba.

Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL) shares traded the most whereas Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.91 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 889 per share.

Sanima GIC Insurance Limited (SGIC) gained all they could for the day and hit the positive circuit.

On the other side of things, Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) lost the highest 5.48% today.

Nine sector indices closed green, "Finance" gained the highest 3.88% while "Mutual Fund" lost the highest 2.10% today.
