Womi Laghubitta (WOMI) and Suryodaya Laghubitta (SLBS) Sign Merger Agreement

Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WOMI) and Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBS) have decided to go on merger with each other.

The merger agreement has been signed between the two companies on Bhadra 15, 2078. As such, WOMI has published a notice requesting the exchange to halt its trading.

WOMI had recently merged with another company. After completion of the merger procedures, the joint transaction of Womi Laghubitta and Grameen Swayamsewak Laghubitta had commenced from 3rd Chaitra last year. The two companies have carried out the joint operation under the name Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.

Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited posted a net profit of Rs 105.60 million in the last quarter of the fiscal year 2077/78. Meanwhile, WOMI Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited posted a net profit of Rs 160.53 million. As of writing, WOMI has an LTP of Rs. 1,609 and SLBS has an LTP of Rs. 1,713.
