Your Last Chance to Grab the 36.5% Dividend of Radhi Bidyut Company

Radhi Bidyut Company Limited has called its AGM on 29th Ashar, 2078. The meeting will be held in the company's office in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am that day.

Ashar 15 is the book closure date for dividend and AGM. Thus, investors maintained till today are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend the AGM.

Among other agendas, the company will endorse the 36.5% bonus shares for the fiscal year 2076/77. The meeting of the board of directors held on Jestha 02 decided to distribute 36.5% bonus shares from the paid-up capital of Rs. 47,35,56,500. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 17,28,48,122.50.

The AGM will also endorse the proposal of 1: 1.4752 rights shares to its investors. The meeting of the board of directors held on Jestha 16, 2078 decided to issue the 147.52% right shares on the paid-up capital of Rs. 64,64,04,622.50. This is the paid-up capital maintained after adjusting the 36.5% bonus shares for the fiscal year 2076/77. Thus, 95,35,760.99 unit shares will be issued at a par value of Rs. 100 per share.

The hydropower company has published the unaudited third-quarter report for FY 2077/2078. As per the report, the net profit of the company increased by 9.01%; stood at Rs. 6.26 crore from Rs. 5.74 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
