Citizen Investment Trust to conduct its 22nd AGM today; Endorsing 22% bonus shares for the shareholders

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) will be conducting its 22^nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) today. The AGM is going to be held at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi, Kathmandu at 2:00 PM.

The main agendas of the AGM are:

• To endorse 22% bonus shares from the profit of FY 2072/73 and 1.15% cash dividend (for tax purpose)
• To appoint 1 representative each from the public shareholders and the promoters to sign the minute of AGM

Other agendas of the AGM include endorsement of financial highlights of the FY 2072/73.

The current paid up capital of the company is Rs 74.03 crore. After 22% bonus, its paid-up capital will reach Rs 90.31 crore.

The book closure for the AGM has been set from Chaitra 22, 2074 to Baishakh 7, 2075 i.e. the shareholders holding shares until Chaitra 21, 2074 will be eligible to participate in the AGM and for the bonus shares.

CIT has earned Rs 18.21 crore in the second quarter of the FY 2074/75.
