Many investors looking to apply for the ongoing IPO of Nepal Seva Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SEVA) through MeroShare have complained regarding not receiving the confirmation code in their email addresses. Investors had also faced similar issue during the earlier IPO of Aarambha Microfinance. To get around this issue, CDS & Clearing is now displaying the confirmation code in the MeroShare window itself from today.

After entering the CRN number and submitting the application, MeroShare used to send the confirmation code in the applicant’s email address. This code had to be entered in the following window to confirm the application. However, seeing the volume of applications, CDSC will now show the confirmation code in the same page. The system is reported to have a maximum limit of sending 60 confirmation codes at a time.

Investors can apply for the IPO until Baisakh 16, 2075 at earliest. The maximum closing date is Jestha 10, 2075 if the issue fails to receive adequate applications within the earliest closing date. SEVA is issuing 1,67,400 units shares for general public, 9,000 unit shares for mutual funds and 3,600 unit shares for its employees for a total of 1,80,000 units. After the offering, its paid-up capital will reach Rs 6 crore from current Rs 4.80 crore.
