Mr. Ram Chandra Khanal assumed charge as the Chief Executive Officer of Kumari Bank Limited from April 27, 2022, with a tenure of 4 years, succeeding CEO Mr. Anuj Mani Timilsina.
Assuming the charge as a CEO, Mr. Khanal said, “I am privileged to be appointed the post of CEO of Kumari Bank, a legacy institution of having more than 20 years of successful banking history. I seek the whole-hearted support of all the staff members in taking the bank to still greater heights as we approach the silver jubilee year of the bank”.
Khanal’s presence in the bank is showing positive outcomes. In fact, KBL, for the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2078/79, has achieved to earn a net profit of Rs 1.80 Kharba. Similarly, paid-up capital has increased by 6 percent and the reserve fund has increased by 10.47 percent. Likewise, the bank's deposit mobilization increased by 13.42 percent, and credit investment increased by 13.08 percent making overall good progress in the third quarter of his two-and-a-half-month tenure as CEO.
