Machhapuchhre Bank establishes 3 branchless banking centers; Introduces ‘Real Time” account opening for the first time in Nepal

Machhapuchhre Bank has brought into operation 3 branchless banks in Banke, Bardiya and Kaski district.

With the introduction of the three BLB’s the total number of branchless banking centres of Machhapuchhre Bank has reached to 18 centres. The centre provides services like Opening accounts, Deposit or Withdrawal of fund, Remittance and Loan application. The bank has introduced ‘Real Time” account opening for the first time in the country and has also provided chip based debit card immediately.

The bank has plans of establishing 20 Customer Service Centres, providing financial awareness in 14 districts in collaboration with UKAID.

The bank currently has 62 branches, 4 extension counters and 18 branch less banking centres along with 86 ATM providing services to its valuable customers.
