NEPSE index still in remission; attraction seen towards Microfinance scrips

NEPSE index has declined today by 4.55 points or 0.324%. The market today had opened at 1,332.89 points and went through minor fluctuations. There were slight ups and downs leading index to close in the red zone.

Total turnover worth Rs 29.63 crore was witnessed during the trading hours as more than 6.88 lakh unit shares were traded in the whole day through 3,630 transactions. The turnover today is almost half of yesterdays’.

Kalika Microfinance Development Bank (KMCDB) stood ahead in terms of turnover as more than 1.89 crore worth of shares were traded. Similarly, Citizen Bank International (CZBIL) was also the top in case of number of shares traded as 57,737 unit shares were exchanged.

Likewise, the top gainer for the day is Mithila Laghubitta Bikas Bank (MLBBL) whose price increased by 10% closing at Rs. 1,170. And, Pokhara Finance Company Promoter Share (PFLPO) was the top loser of the day losing 9.80% on its price.

The subindices for Otherd and Microfinance sectors inclined and landed in green zone. Similarly, the subindices for rest of the sectors declined and landed in the red zone. The Insurance sector lost the most today tumbling by 26.57 points.
