NMB Bank registers 23.30% rise in the net profit; EPS and Net worth per share stand at Rs 29.09 and Rs 187.21 respectively

NMB Bank Limited (NMB) has registered a 23.30% increase in its net profit in the third quarter (Q3) of the current fiscal year 2074/75.
According to the unaudited financial report published by the commercial bank today, its net profit has surged to Rs 1.41 arba in third quarter, up from Rs 1.14 arba in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year 2073/74. The operating profit increased to Rs 1.69 arba from Rs 1.16 arba as compared to the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year.
NMB’s net interest income has risen to Rs 2.10 arba in the third quarter as compared to Rs 1.85 arba in the corresponding quarter last year. Its deposits collection increased by a 19.88% to Rs 85.29 arba in Q3 from only Rs 71.15 arba in the corresponding period last year.
Likewise, it has also been able to increase its loans by similar figures. Up to the end of Q3, it extended loans and advances of Rs 74.01 arba whereas in the same period last year, the figure stood at Rs 60.24 arba.
Its non-performing loan has remained stagnant at 1.1% in the review period.
Annualized Earning per share (EPS) of NMB stands at Rs 29.09 and net worth per share is at Rs 187.21.
Its paid up capital and reserves remain at Rs 6.46 arba and Rs 5.63 arba respectively.
