Pokhara Finance’s profit decline by 7.05% in the third quarter; EPS and Net wirth per share stand at Rs 11.83 and Rs 153.29 respectively

Pokhara Finance Limited (PFL) has posted a decline in profit by 7.05% percent in the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2074/75.

Publishing the unaudited financial report today, the bank stated that its net profit decreased to Rs 6.53 crore in the third current fiscal year 2074/75, from Rs 7.02 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2073/74.

Its net interest income has fallen from Rs 14.23 crore in corresponding quarter to Rs 12.61 crore in the current quarter.

Pokhara Finance’s paid up capital remains at Rs. 65.78 crore. The finance reserve and surplus increased to Rs.39.22 crore in Q3 up from Rs 19.86 crore in last quarter. The company also has Rs 8.02 crore as Calls in Advance.

The finance company has collected Rs 4.04 arba in the Q3 up from Rs 3.42 arba as deposits in the corresponding quarter. Likewise, it has extended loans and advances of Rs 3.89 arba in Q3 whereas in the same period last year the figure stood at Rs 3.27 arba.

Its non-performing loan (NPL) has dropped to 1.26 percent in Q3  from 1.47 percent in the previous year report.

PFL’s annualized earning per share (EPS) stand at Rs 11.83, net worth per share at 153.29 and the P/E ratio at 12.25 times.
